TL;DR – Anne Hathaway is back as Princess Mia!
It’s been confirmed ladies – that 12 years on since the last Princess Diaries movie, Princess Mia Thermopolis is back!
She will still be played by Anne Hathaway who is currently “very pregnant” and gearing up for her role in the movie.
Says director Garry Marshall to PEOPLE, “”Anne Hathaway is very pregnant, so we have to wait until she has the baby and then I think we’re going to do it.”
He also said that Chris Pine could reprise his role as Hathaway’s husband.
It’s crazy how it’s been 15 years since the first The Princess Diaries film and the Les Misérables actress still looks like she hasn’t aged a day.
Life is unfair indeed.
