TL;DR – Buy 6 get 1 free somemore.
If you’re a huge salted egg anything, everything fan like us over here at Unscrambled, you’ll be glad to know that mainstream bakery BreadTalk has jumped on the salted egg croissant bandwagon too.
Yeah, we have heard about Flavour Flings who was the first to introduce this in Singapore (but Hougang’s too far for those NOT on the NEL) and how Antoinette probably has the best version in town but they often sell out too quickly (not to mention the queue) so all hail BreadTalk for bringing this concoction to 23 outlets islandwide to cater to spoilt millennials like us.
We tried it today and it came freshly-baked with a strong buttery flavour. The salted egg yolk filling was thick and was both savoury and sweet and it just oozes out of the crossiant…
Pretty worth it at $1 a piece.
Available daily at 112 Katong, Ang Mo Kio, Bedok Mall, Bugis Junction, BreadTalk IHQ, Causeway Point, Chinatown Point, CityLink, Clementi Mall, Junction 8, Novena Square, Paragon, Parkway Parade, Paya Lebar Square, Plaza Singapura, Raffles City, Resorts World Sentosa, Tampines Mall, Toa Payoh, VivoCity, Waterway Point, Westgate and Wisma Atria.
(This is not a sponsored post. $1 for croissant, I think we can afford lah.)
