Eight Bangladeshis have been detained under the ISA for planning terror attacks back home. They called their group the Islamic State in Bangladesh (ISB) and were planning to join ISIS as foreign fighters.

2) Burn, baby, burn

Barack Obama used his final White House Correspondents’ Dinner to fire a couple of jokes at Donald Trump. With some pretty epic lines such as “… The Republicans say that Donald Trump lack of experience in foreign policy to be President, but he has spent years with leaders of the world: Miss Sweden, Miss Argentina, Miss Azerbaijan…”, maybe he ought to consider an alternative career as a standup comedian after he’s done being President.

3) Slide the City Singapore

You know the Chobani greek yogurt we often see at our supermarkets? The founder and CEO of the brand, Hamdi Ulukaya, is actually a Muslim immigrant from Turkey who came to the USA 10 years ago with nothing. Today, the company’s estimated to be worth $3 billion to $5 billion and he just made an announcement to give 10% of his own shares to every full-time employee of the yoghurt company. He also gave US$700m to Syrian refugees.
