1) Zika virus now in Singapore
It was only a matter of time but the first imported case of the Zika virus infection has reached our shores. The patient is a 48 year-old male Singapore PR who had travelled to Sao Paulo, Brazil from March 27 to May 7 and will be transferred to the Communicable Diseases Centre (CDC) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital for treatment and isolation.
