A 7-year-old Japanese boy who was missing for almost a week after his highly intelligent parents abandoned him in a bear-inhabited forest as punishment, has been found alive.

2) 12-year-old who helped accident victims gets award
12-year-old Ashvin Gunasegaran received the SCDF’s Public Spiritedness Award after he offered to help victims involved in a road accident while walkng home from remedial classes. A crowd had gathered after 2 vehicles collided at the junction of Yishun Avenue 2 and Yishun Ring Road but instead of rendering help, some passers-by decided that using their mobile devices to take photos and videos of the scene was more appropriate action.
