TL;DR – We love our meats. 

This guide has been specially written for all the hardcore carnivores out there. There’s gonna be so much beef in here – from premium marbled Wagyu to USDA Prime Black Angus – I promise it won’t be a mis-steak reading this.

1. Bedrock Bar and Grill

Bedrock Bar and Grill, located in the heart of Orchard Road, swears by one simple philosophy when it comes to cooking their meats – less is more – by using few ingredients yet extracting the most authentic flavours out of the meat. The menu is concise and it is the embodiment of the grill cuisine because it offers a fine selection of Premium cuts from grass-fed, grain-fed and dry aged beef sourced from America, Japan and Australia. If you’re dining in a group or feeling ambitious, it is definitely recommended to try their massive cut of 400 days grain fed F1 long-bone Tomahawk Steak! Pair your meat dishes with one of their comprehensive single malt whiskey options and perhaps even a side of their decadent truffle mac and cheese.

2. Fat Cow

The Japanese-inspired steakhouse, Fat Cow truly lives up to its name by serving superior prime cuts of Wagyu beef that can be categorized on the basis of their meat quality and yield grades A3, A4 and A5.  The interior of the restaurant epitomizes the Japanese aesthetics of minimalism and subtlety. The main dining area has been designed and based on the concept of a bespoke service that allows the diners to select the cut (half-cut or full-cut), the weight, the origin (Japan, Australia or USA) and method of cooking (Sumibiyaki, Shabu-Shabu or Sukiyaki) of their beef. Fat Cow serves the exquisite Iwate Grade A5 Wagyu Beef that is from the Iwate Japanese Shorthorn. The meat has extremely delicate marbling that releases an umami, buttery, luscious flavour when cooked, while the succulent meat melts slowly in your mouth.

3. SKIRT

SKIRT restaurant located at W Singapore-Sentosa Cove adopts the Latin-method of Parilla grilling which guarantees that every cut of meat and fresh seafood are cooked to absolute perfection on the grill. The interior of the restaurant has been intentionally and yet subtly decorated in a way that aligns with the cow-beef theme, for example, bull-horns suspended from the ceiling, bull-horn shaped salt and pepper shakers and leather-fashioned chandeliers. The restaurant offers a selection of superior prime beef varieties that include the Creekstone Farms Premium USD Corn Fed Black Angus, Blackmore Australian Full Blood +9 Wagyu and the Argentinian Grass-Fed Angus. With beef cuts that range from the tenderloin, 250g sirloin, skirt steak, 350g sirloin and rib-eye and not forgetting the huge 1kg grass- fed Australian Angus Tomahawk steak. 4. SEAR

SEAR is situated right at the top of the Singapore Land Tower which offers a stunning panoramic view of Marina Bay. The restaurant features a fine selection of exquisite meats like the Toriyama (A4) Rib Eye 250g, Australian Pure Black Tenderloin, Prime USA Naturale Cross Grain-Fed Angus and Australian 450 DAys Grain Fed MS (7-8) Wagyu. Each of the meats have a signature cut with its natural flavours enhanced by SEAR’s Spanish-imported PIRA charcoal oven, it leaves the grill with a gorgeous charred-finish and a juicy, blushing-pink centre that just sums up that perfect steak experience. Diners can select which sauce (Peppercorn, Bordelaise, Bearnaise, Wholegrain Mustard, Blue Cheese) they’d like to pair with their meat or order a selection of side dishes or potatoes to share.

5. Morton’s Steakhouse

Morton’s Steakhouse Singapore prides itself as THE classic American steakhouse that serves prime beef of the highest quality. 6. Burnt Ends

The meats are first perfectly charred from its special brick grill using charcoal and hardwood fires and it is then broiled. this method helps to keep the meat tender and succulent. 9. Wooloomooloo Steakhouse

Wooloomooloo Steakhouse belongs to a popular steakhouse-chain from Hong Kong and has brought its first restaurant to Singapore at the . The restaurant boasts of a picturesque view of the F1 racetrack and the lush greenery that lines Stamford Road. Wooloomooloo offers a good selection of USDA Prime Beef, Australian Angus Beef, Australian Black Angus Beef and Australian Wagyu Beef that have been handpicked and cut in-house before being seared to perfection in their 1800°F broiler. Diners can choose from a short list of sauce options to pair their meats with – Au Jus, Peppercorn, Mushroom or Red Wine Madeira. 10.  The Betterfield

The cafe-bistro Betterfield is situated at the Treasury on High Street and boasts a menu selection of Premium, quality beef. Their simple and concise beef selection menu offers choices of Wagyu or USDA Beef, Riverine or Premium Black Angus, Black Angus or Canterbury and is categorised according the quality and grade of the meat. All beef dishes are seared to perfection, seasoned with some maldon sea salt, served with truffle mustard and a mesclun salad on the side. There is even a beef platter that comes with a trio of the beef variety paired with five-special condiments. If you’re feeling extravagant and would like to elevate the flavours in your beef dish, you could add on some truffle powder, truffle paste or even some foie gras!
