TL;DR – Camping millennial-style.
For those of you who have always wanted to try millennial-style camping, it’s time you should! Glamping – or glamorous camping – is the new way of enjoying the fun of camping without the grime.
So, what’s so fun about glamping besides being a refreshing alternative to a hotel staycation? Think plush cushions, fairy lights and boho decor, coupled with the rustic charm of camping alongside seaside views… Just take a look at these photos!
Unfortunately, as fancy as glamping may sound, it comes with a price. Camping is only permitted at some areas by NParks such as East Coast Park, Pasir Ris Park, West Coast Park and Pulau Ubin and glamping providers require a camping permit. So, why not DIY your glamp? All you have to do is get ready these items and be creative!
1. Tent – It should be large enough for you and your friends, and the bed!
2. Bed – Air Mattresses are perfect solutions as they can look and feel like a regular bed.
3. Bedsheets – The bedsheets can make all the difference, so if you want your Instagram-worthy shot, choose your prettiest sheets and blankets.
4. Some fancy decor! – Think fairy lights, cushions, carpets, party pennants… get creative!
Happy Glamping!
