TL;DR – Time travel much.
Hawaiian Airlines Flight 446 departed Auckland, New Zealand at 12:05 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2018 and after an eight-hour flight, landed in Honolulu, Hawaii at 10:16 a.m. on Dec. 31, 2017.
This is due to a time difference where Honolulu is 23 hours behind Auckland.
While I think most Singaporeans are no strangers to the time difference between this part of the world and the States as we wait (with bated breath) for new episodes of our favourite TV shows to drop, the Internet was quite blown away by this curious case of time travel.
Because of an unexpected delay, Hawaiian Airlines flight 446 took off in 2018 and will land in 2017. #timetravel pic.twitter.com/A5vesXmjqq
