1. Singapore Art Week 2018

From exhibitions and performances to graffiti art and film screenings, Singapore Art Week 2018 is an annual festival in celebration of art. Organised by the National Arts Council, Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore Economic Development Board, it is a visual arts extravaganza with more than 100 installations happening including a range of home-grown, regional and international art. If art is your jam or updating your ‘gram, there will be heaps to enjoy at this 12-day event.

2. EarthFest 2018

If you have not heard of EarthFest, it’s time you check it out. Bringing to you its 3rd edition this year, EarthFest is an eco-carnival that is all about sustainability and fun. From a food fair to a Farmer’s Market to talks and screenings, there are over 100 stalls to explore in one of the most sustainable venues in the world, Marina Barrage.

3. World Snack Fair 2018

Do you love your snacks and enjoy trying different ones when you travel? World Snack Fair 2018 is the LARGEST snack fair ever and for 3 consecutive days, you can sample thousands of snacks from Japan, Korea, Europe, Australia and Asia. We’re getting hungry already!

4. Music For A Cause 2018

Organised by Love Action Project, Music For A Cause is a two-day music festival that aims to raise awareness and funds for welfare organisations. In support of local musicians and community, there is also a flea market and F&B booths, so you can enjoy good food while basking in the good vibes.

 5. Run For Hope 2018

If one of your new year resolutions is to exercise more, why not do it for a good cause? Join Run For Hope and help raise funds and awareness for cancer research. Run For Hope has been operating for more than 30 years and it is the longest running cancer awareness run in Singapore. Go for the 10 km if you are an avid runner or for a shorter run, join the 3.5 km!

6. Clean Bandit Live in Singapore

It’s time to start singing along to ‘Rockabye’ and ‘Symphony’. With over 13 million singles and 1.6 million albums sold worldwide, Clean Bandit will be bringing to you it’s refreshing and unique sounds – think, a mix of dance beats, electronic synths and mashups of classical music – this January.

7. Pokémon Run Carnival 2018

I choose You! If you are a Pokémon fan or have friends still into training and searching for Pokéballs, this event is for you. Enjoy an awesome Pokémon journey by running along the waterfront while collecting Pokéballs and stopping for photos with various Pokémon. We’re expecting a large crowd again, since last year’s edition drew as many as 6000 participants!

8. St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival Singapore 2018

Returning this year on 27 January 2018 is Singapore’s biggest indie music festival – Laneway Festival! The Australia-originated fest held will be featuring notable artists including Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, Bonobo and the returning hero Mac Demarco.

9. Chinatown Chinese New Year 2018 Light-Up

Usher the Year of the Dog in Chinatown with the Chinese New Year Celebrations. An annual celebration, the Official Light Up and Opening Ceremony marks the opening of the Chinatown Chinese New Year Celebrations 2018. The 7 weeks of street lights will stretch along the streets of Chinatown and feature both traditional and contemporary designs and other art installations. With a stunning display of handmade lanterns, fireworks, firecrackers and festive performances, the annual celebration is organised to bring both locals and tourists together.
