You might have already heard of Switzerland-based luxury hotel group, Kempinski Hotels SA and the newly-opened The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore, which is the brand’s flagship hotel in Singapore.
The centerpiece of the $800 million Capitol development project which took years to complete finally opened its doors on October 1, 2018. Designed by Richard Meier, the 157 rooms and suites of the ultra-luxury hotel is said to feature contemporary interior design and state-of-the-art technology.
Much of the building’s colonial art deco and Victorian aesthetics has been preserved, and enhanced with high corniced ceilings, dramatic archways and grand windows that offer sweeping views of the city and an abundance of natural light that shifts with the day.
F&B options will be rolled out in the months to come and it’s said that the hotel’s signature restaurant will b conceptualised by a three-starred Michelin chef.
Room rates start at S$568++ per night as part of their Opening Special promo and we can also pretty much guess that this hotel will make a dream wedding venue for many.
