TL;DR – Too good to be true.
Because we Singaporeans can’t get enough of everything Salted Egg and everything Xiang Guo, we now have it.

The inaugural Salted Egg Xiang Guo.
Founded by Three Good Guys or literally, 三个好人 , this sinfully good concoction can be found at Golden Mile Food Centre otherwise known as our favourite Army Market.

Real salted eggs are used here, and the dish is then topped with a generous serving of fried fish skin, fragrant curry leaves and some chilli padi.
Price wise, it stands at a pretty reasonable per-serving charge of $2 for meat, $3 for seafood, $1 for vegetables and $2 for noodles. There are also quality beef cubes ($3) and prawns available.
And for those who prefer their good ol’ Ma La Xiang Guo, fret not, it is also available here at Three Good Guys.

We like how their version packs a mean punch and has some strong flavours besides being just spicy. It isn’t too oily either.

Final verdict? Both are good, it’s best to get a friend/ girlfriend/ boyfriend/ sister/ brother/ you get the idea down with you so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
