Singapore was ranked the third most corrupt-free country in the world, based on the Corruption Perceptions Index 2018 by international non-governmental organisation, Transparency International.

In the previous 2017 ranking, we were ranked sixth.
The index, which ranks 180 countries and territories by their perceived levels of public sector corruption according to experts and businesspeople, uses a scale of 0 to 100, where 0 is highly corrupt and 100 is very clean. Singapore scored 85 points out of 100. In 2017, the score was 84.

In Asia, Singapore is deemed the most corrupt-free country. The organisation also mentioned that there is little to no progress on anti-corruption in this region.
