TL;DR – Strawberry soju, anyone?
South Korean liquor maker Hite Jinro will be releasing their newest flavoured soju, Jinro Strawberry this month and this new flavour will only be available for the export market.
The company announced that the launch of the strawberry-flavoured soju is with the intend to strengthen their position on its fruit liquor series in the overseas markets, following the success of Jinro Grapefruit.
Jinro Strawberry, which has alcoholic content of 13 percent, is the fourth in the fruit soju series after the launch of Jinro Grapefruit, Jinro Green Grape, and Jinro Plum.
It is also the second product that has been developed exclusively for export.
For a start, the company will be exporting 420,000 bottles of Jinro Strawberry to 18 countries including Cambodia, Laos, China, Thailand and France.
And hopefully this will be available in Singapore, too?
