It’s that time of the year when the cheesy Christmas songs and even cheesier office gift exchanges happen.
Yeps, it’s December and there’s just no avoiding some songs. Like Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is You which, incidentally, reached No. 1 on the US charts after 25 years. She’s even going to release a brand new music video to celebrate the moment. Yeps, it’s coming out today, 20th December at 12:00 midnight. US time, of course. Last Christmas has been covered to death through the years.
In more recent years, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen and even Kpop girl group Blackpink have covered the song. And oh, Hong Kong pop princess G.E.M has also said this is her favourite Christmas song. Check out her cover in Chinese here, it’s quite a different take on the song.
