TL;DR – Malaysia’s own version of Leaning Tower of Pisa.

A photo of the still-under-construction building along Jalan Conlay in Kuala Lumpur has been making rounds on social media, with a caption claiming that the building is collapsing.

However, The Star has confirmed that the building isn’t really collapsing.

Instead, the YOO8 residence building is specifically designed to look like that:

KSK Land, the developer of the building reportedly explained that depending on the angle, the towers’ unique design will make them appear to look as though they are tilted.

Designed by RSP Architects KL, 8 Conlay features one of the world’s tallest twisted twin residential towers, called YOO8 serviced by Kempinski.

KSK Land, the developer of 8 Conlay, places safety and genuine care at the heart of its operations and works diligently to assess and assure all healthy and safety requirements are met and guaranteed.

According to The Star, a spokesperson from the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department has confirmed that they have not received any reports of a collapsing building.
