TL;DR – He was caught red-handed and was found with two charging devices on him.

A man had been caught red-handed in Malaysia after he had allegedly filmed a Singaporean woman in a toilet in Johor Bahru recently.

According to Zaobao, Mdm Chen a 42-year-old housewife, told the Xinming Daily that she and her husband had taken their two sons to the Paradigm Mall in Johor Bahru on December 21. They arrived at the mall at around 6.15pm and were going to catch a movie at the mall’s cinema.

Mdm Chen went to the toilet before the movie.

She first noticed a black Samsung phone on the floor of the cubicle next to her but did not find it suspicious. However, she later saw a hand retrieving the phone and that was when she realised that something was amiss, and she might have been secretly filmed.

Trying to keep calm, she quietly asked someone to help to guard that particular cubicle while she called for help.

As soon as she stepped out of the toilet, Mdm Chen shouted for help. Together with the security officers and the employees of the cinema, they managed to catch the culprit red-handed.

According to the new report, the culprit was a 19-year-old young man who was working in the cinema. He was found with two charging devices on him.

Mdm Chen also lodged a police report regarding the incident.

I read lots, and I also spend an indecent amount of time trying to get my mostly unpopular opinions published. Oh, I argue a lot with fellow Singaporeans who complain incessantly about Singapore too.
