TL;DR – Many more have participated in the #Toast2U Challenge!
Following the previous compilation, several more leaders and politicians have joined in on the campaign over the past couple of days to show their appreciation to all the frontline workers.
In case you didn’t know, the #toast2U challenge is a joint cause-based initiative by Young NTUC and nEbO U Heart, in collaboration with NTUC Income, to show appreciation to all the frontline workers who have demonstrated resilience, solidarity and unity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
For every #Toast2U post on Facebook, NTUC Income will pledge $2 to the NTUC U Care Fund, which helps the low-income members and their families through various assistance programmes to defray their cost of living and children’s school expenses, as well as members whose livelihood had been affected by COVID-19.
On Dec 4, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong shared a video of himself doing the challenge in a Facebook post. The people he chose to carry on the challenge are NTUC Assistant Secretary-General Patrick Tay and President of the Air-Transport Executive Staff Union (AESU) Daniel Loh.
Both Patrick Tay and Daniel Loh responded to PM’s nomination by sharing a video of themselves doing the challenge.
Madam President Halimah Yacob, Speaker Tan Chuan Jin and Manpower Minister Josephine Teo whose names were amongst the nominees for the #toast2U challenge previously also took up the challenge:

Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information Janil Puthucheary who was tagged by Dr Koh Poh Koon
Second Minister for Trade and Industry Tan See Leng who was tagged by Labour MP Fahmi Aliman.
Minister of State Low Yen Ling participated with the nomination of Dr Tan See Leng.
Sun Xueling, Minister of State for Social and Family Development as well as Education, participated in the challenge too and selected Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Associate Professor Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim and Member of Parliament (MP) Carrie Tan to go next.
MP Xie Yao Quan who nominated fellow MP Murali Pillai and Minister for National Development Desmond Lee to continue with the challenge, did his toast with a cup of bubble tea.

Tagged by Manpower Minister Josephine Teo, both MP Desmond Tan MP Gan Siow Huang too, took to their Facebook to share a video of them doing the challenge.
Facebook page RedAnts 红蚂蚁 joined the challenge, however they did not nominate anyone but expressed their hope that the coming year 2021 will be free of COVID 19.
