Fann Wong launches online pastry shop Fanntasy, but netizens are not buying it

TL;DR – Some are not too happy with the price tag of her tarts.

Home-grown actress Fann Wong has announced that she will be launching an online pastry shop called Fanntasy.

Her online site is expected to go live at on Oct 13 at 9.29am.

Two types of whole tarts available

For now, the veteran actress is offering only two types of whole tarts, a Musang King Gula Melaka Tart ($68) and Signature Valrhona Chocolate Tart ($58).

The flavours are said to be inspired by her husband Christopher Lee and son Zed, who are both chocolate lovers.

Netizens react

Unfortunately, netizens aren’t too happy about the news of the actress’s new business venture.

Later “peng san” (translation: collapse) like Jeannette Aw one netizen said:

Some are not too happy with the price tag of her tarts.

Translation: Save some chances for the others. Stop taking away their businesses, it’s so expensive.


While there are netizens with not-so-nice things to say, there are also those who are supportive of her.


Nevertheless, we wish Fann Wong all the best and success in her new business venture!
