McDonald's for 35 Orphans

TL;DR – He decided to buy the kids McDonald’s after he saw a Mickey Mouse mascot in front of the fast-food chain asking for donations.

One extremely kind-hearted little boy recently won over the hearts of the collective internet.

A video posted to Twitter by netizen Adawiyah on 27 March featured one 6-year-old boy who sold his toys in a garage sale to treat 35 orphans to McDonald’s.

In a tweet posted along with the 25-second video clip, the little boy’s mother shared that Sayf had decided to buy the kids McDonald’s after he saw a Mickey Mouse mascot in front of the fast-food chain asking for donations.

Inspired, he then came up with an idea, which is to sell his toys to help the less fortunate children.

But Sayf wasn’t satisfied with just buying the kids McDonald’s meals. He went on to do another round of garage sales in front of their house in Ampang to raise more money for his less fortunate friends.

His mini charity project involves selling hot wheels and monster trucks that cost between RM2 to RM 5, said his mother.

At the time of writing, the tweet by Sayf’s mother has garnered over 9,000 likes and more than 3,000 retweets with netizens praising little Sayf for his act of kindness.

Others also commended his parents for raising him well.

Another netizen also praised Sayf for being able to let go of his toys so easily. “I have a box of hot wheels that I can’t even let go even though someone has offered to buy it. Continue with your efforts,” the netizen added.
