NTUC FairPrice Pasar Eggs

TL;DR – NTUC FairPrice’s rolling out an egg-tastic promotion! Pasar fresh eggs (30s) will sell at $6.95 per tray – purchase limited to 2 trays per customer while stocks last from 20 – 27 April.

Remember when the price of eggs rose in April this year? When the rising cost of living quickly became an issue for the world, we didn’t expect eggs to be one of them.. With the average price of eggs even going up to $7.50 at most supermarkets!

So, to say the least, we were extremely relieved to hear that the rising cost of eggs will be absorbed by NTUC FairPrice with an exclusive 7 day only discount on Pasar fresh eggs! The eggs (30s) will be sold at a discounted price of $6.95 while stocks last from 20 – 27 April 2022.

Brb, thinking about all the egg dishes we can make with this information…

Despite NTUC FairPrice facing cost pressures, the social enterprise is living up to NTUC’s promise of continuing to support lower-income families especially when it comes to basic essential items

On top of that, NTUC FairPrice’s move in absorbing costs for eggs has also set the standard for the price of eggs from other supermarkets (Sheng Siong priced their eggs lower too), so this helps to moderate the cost of basic necessities across the board, thus making the price of eggs cheaper for all!

Despite the war, FairPrice has been actively diversifying egg sources to ensure availability. It currently offers over 60 stock keeping units (SKU) of eggs from different brands. These eggs are imported from seven countries; including Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Poland in addition to sourcing locally.

On that note, should we share some recipes for egg related dishes? Apart from breakfast, there are so many things we can do at home to make our meal gourm-egg-tastic!

NTUC so “rich”, why their things cannot be the cheapest?
