Salted egg chips

TL;DR – So good. Much wow.

When you go for house parties and gatherings, it’s always good to bring items like alcohol or snacks for everyone to enjoy.

Here are some of our favourites:

1. Durian Bak kwa
Durian Bak kwa Hu Zhen Longvia

Yup you read that right. Who would have come up with durian bak kwa? It sounds weird, but this concoction is surprisingly tasty.

2. Salted Egg Chips
Salted egg chipsThis is currently the de facto Singaporean snack and even better if the chips are generously coated with a thick layer of salted egg yolk.

3. Singapore Laksa, Hainanese Chicken Rice Potato Chips

Of course we had to include these chips. Specially created by homegrown brand, F.EAST, these chips pack a pretty good punch and although they may look gimmicky, we actually think it’s quite worth the $3 price tag per bag.

4. Pork Floss

Pork floss is the new popcorn and my current favourite movie snack is the roasted pork floss from Bee Cheng Hiang.

5. Nasi Lemak Cookies
